Derby County are hoping to land Joe Hart when his current contract at Burnley expires at the end of this season, The Sun reports.
Hart, 33, has endured a torrid few years. Only four years ago, Hart was the England and Manchester City no.1 but today, he plays second fiddle at Turf Moor.
Derby though are hoping to give Hart a lifeline in the summer. Both Ben Hamer and Kelle Roos have shared the responsibility in goal for Derby this season - they've 18 and 19 Championship appearances to their names respectively.
But Cocu is understood to be keen on bringing another ex-England international to Pride Park in Hart, with Wayne Rooney looking at his first full season with the club next time round.

Derby though will have to fend off Turkish outfit Besiktas to land Hart's signature. Their current no.1 is Loris Karius and he was due to return to Anfield in the summer but both Liverpool and Besiktas are keen to seal a permanent deal.
Should it materialise then it paves the way for Hart to head to Pride Park.
Once a tremendous goalkeeper, Hart has been dealt some tough hands in the past few seasons, but at 33 he could yet have a few more seasons in him at the top-level.
The Verdict:
This would be a great signing. If Cocu could add two former World Cup players to their side it'd be a huge statement going into next season, but despite his achievements - is Hart still good enough, and does he have the confidence to play in the Championship?
We've not seen an awful lot of him over the past few seasons, and a lot of what we have hasn't exactly been positive - it'd be a gamble by Cocu, and one that could backfire or pay off quite easily.
