FLW understands that Derby County are still interested in a 93-day loan deal for Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker.
However, as reported on FLW, Leeds United are keen to make a move for the highly-rated 19-year-old and will plan a move after a head-coach is fully implemented at the club.
According to FLW sources, both clubs are not going to rush into a potential loan deal for Baker but they both hold a significant interest in the player.
The emergency loan window runs until November 25th with clubs allowed to loan players for a maximum of 93 days.
Baker has been at Stamford Bridge all his career, and has successfully progressed through the ranks to captain the under-21 side, as well as make his senior debut.
The 19-year-old has also represented England at U17s and U19s level on multiple occasions
