Derby County defender Curtis Davies' form in December earned him a nomination for PFA Championship Player of the Month and he has made 173 Premier League appearances.

Times are good for Davies but Luton Town is the club where it all began for the defender who has also played for Hull City, Aston Villa, Birmingham City and West Brom.

He made 56 appearances for the Hatters, who are currently four points clear at the top of League Two, scoring twice as well and clearly holds an affinity for the club.

After he tweeted that a roadblock had taken him back into Luton, he received a message from a fan, telling him to get back to Kenilworth Road and he replied in style.

Give it four years and Davies joked he will have the top job at the Hatters, of course once current Luton boss, highly-rated Nathan Jones has joined Spanish giants Barcelona.

Luton fans - how much would you like to see Davies back at the club? What was he like for you at the start of his career? Let us know below...
