Derby County will not begin talks with likely managerial candidates until the situation regarding Nigel Pearson is resolved, according to Sky Sports.
Pearson was suspended by the Sky Bet Championship club last Tuesday, just hours before their trip to Cardiff City in South Wales, which they won 2-0.
Assistant boss Chris Powell was appointed as interim manager following the news last week, and will continue the role until Derby make an announcement.
The former Charlton Athletic and Huddersfield man picked up a 1-1 draw at Reading on Saturday.
The Rams are set to further investigate Nigel Pearson this week, and they intend on having a resolution within the international break.
Reports suggest the 53 year-old was suspended due to a row with the owner, who was supposedly using a drone to watch training.
Pearson was appointed as manager in the summer but picked up just six points in his nine league games in charge before his suspension.
Following the news, the likes of Steve Bruce and Tim Sherwood have been linked with the job but any candidates will have to wait if Derby decide to sack Nigel Pearson.
