After reaching just missing out on promotion last season, Derby County have made a bit of a slow start to their Sky Bet Championship campaign under Phillip Cocu.

The Rams made it all the way to the play-off final under Frank Lampard last term, but inconsistency has been their main problem so far this season.

Derby have been reasonably solid at home and have won their last four matches at Pride Park, but they've really struggled away from home and are without a league win on the road since the opening weekend of the season.

The Rams return to action this weekend following the international break and the players will be fully focused on the game against Preston North End tomorrow.

Here, we take a look at what some of the Derby players have been up to on social media over the two-week break...

Jayden Bogle

Jayden Bogle was one of the standout players for Derby under Lampard last season and established himself as one of the best young talents in the entire Championship.

The 19-year-old has been a key player so far this season too - making ten appearances in Championship - and his impressive performances for the Rams haven't gone unnoticed.

Bogle was called up to the England Under-20s squad over the recent international break - and not for the first time this season - and featured in the victories over Portugal and Iceland.

The right-back has now taken to social media to reflect on the experience and posted an update on his Instagram account.

Mason Bennett

Mason Bennett has not made a first-team appearance for Derby in over a month, but he's been scoring plenty of goals for the Rams' under-23 side.

The striker took to Twitter the earlier this week to send a birthday message to his Derby teammate Ben Hamer. The goalkeeper is currently on loan at Derby from Huddersfield Town and has been used as backup to first-choice shot-stopper Kelle Roos.

Hamer, who celebrated his 32nd birthday on Wednesday, has made a couple of appearances for Derby this season - with both of them coming in the Carabao Cup.

Tom Huddlestone

Tom Huddlestone has been an important player for Derby this season, making ten appearances in the Championship.

The experienced midfielder - along with his Rams teammate Ikechi Anya - spent time at the Derby County Community Trust’s Active Choices social at on Monday afternoon.

The weekly session - held at St Peter’s Church in Derby - aims to provide support for those in rehabilitation from substance misuse by encouraging socialising.

Whilst the players were there, they took part in a number of different actives - including table tennis, board games and a quiz - and Huddlestone took to Twitter afterwards to reflect on the experience.
