Derby County are set to join the race for Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes, according to Clubcall.
The Scotland international had another wonderful season at Blackburn Rovers where he scored 21 goals in the league.
Amazingly, this is his lowest scoring season at Ewood Park, netting 27 times in 2012/2013 and 25 times in the 2013/2014 season.
The Rams were linked with a loan move for the 25-year-old earlier on in the season after there were doubts over his future at Blackburn.
Nothing came of those rumours and they’re now seemingly lining up another swoop for the Scotland international, who has a £6 million price tag on him.
It’s half what Hull City offered for him in the summer during last year, who, after selling Shane Long for £12 million, made an offer of the same amount for Rhodes, which was rejected.
Blackburn had a mediocre season finishing in ninth place and accumulated 67 Sky Bet Championship points.
