Swindon Town have completed the loan signing of Derby County duo Timi Max Elsnik and Kellan Gordon.

Both youngsters have joined the Robins on season loan deals, and will join up with Swindon ahead of their home tie with Barnet on Saturday.

Kellan Gordon made his professional debut for Gary Rowett's side in their Carabao Cup first round win over Grimsby just over a week ago, whilst Timi Elsnik has three first team appearances to his name.

Elsnik's debut came in the League Cup last season, as he scored the decisive spot kick as the Rams beat Carlisle on penalties. The Rams went on to play Liverpool in the following round and Elsnik made an outing against the Premier League giants.

Swindon have made a decent start to life in League Two, picking up 7 points from their opening four matches, and boss Dave Flitcroft has added an injection of youth to his squad on deadline day.

The Verdict

A beneficial deal for all parties involved.

The Derby youngsters gain vital first team experience whilst on loan at The County Ground in the hope of developing as players, whilst Swindon gain two talented, hungry players with points to prove to their parent club.
