Nick Blackman is wanted by Israeli side Maccabi Tel-Aviv, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Blackman joined the Rams in January 2016 following a decent first half of the campaign, in which he found the net for Reading on 13 occasions.
However, since switching Berkshire for Derbyshire, Blackman has managed just one goal and has struggled during his time at Derby.
Poor performances and injury have restricted the 27-year-old’s game time as he’s appeared just 23 times in the league for the Rams, making only 7 starts.
It’s rumoured that Blackman has flown to Israel to discuss a move, and that could be the best option for the Derby man as he has become dead weight at Pride Park and Gary Rowett drastically needs to offload that from his squad.
Based on how poorly Blackman’s career at Derby has worked out, if the Rams can get a fee for the winger and move him on that would be considered somewhat successful, and the transfer away from the Midlands could also be beneficial for Nick Blackman too.
Blackman’s career has simply gone downhill since he left the Madejski Stadium, so it makes sense for the 27-year-old to depart Pride Park at this point of his career.
The striker clearly possesses talent, he simply needs a fresh start to rejuvenate his career.
Maccabi Tel-Aviv could be a perfect platform for him to ressurect his form.
