According to the Derby Telegraph, Derby County’s Abdoul Camara is attracting interest from France already this summer, with two unnamed French clubs monitoring his situation.

Camara, along with Nick Blackman and Darren Bent, is reportedly one of the players set to leave the Pride Park Stadium this summer, as Gary Rowett prepares for his first full season in-charge of the Sky Bet Championship club, following his appointment in March.

The 27-year old arrived at Derby during the 2016 January transfer window, but the winger has failed to make a major impact in the Championship during his 18-months with the Rams.

Playing under five different managers at the Pride Park Stadium, Camara made just 26 appearances for Derby, which included only seven starts for the first-team.

During the 2016/17 campaign, Camara was limited to just 19 appearances, scoring one goal, which came during the FA Cup defeat to Leicester City in early February.

There is expected to be plenty of transfer activity at Derby this summer, as Rowett shapes his squad during his first transfer window as the club’s manager.

Curtis Davies has already arrived from Hull City, as Rowett begins to moulds a squad capable of bettering Derby’s ninth-placed finish in the Championship from last season.
