Interest in Exeter City starlet Ollie Watkins is mounting following an excellent campaign for The Grecians, according to HITC Sport. 

The 20-year old has emerged as one of the most promising talents in the Football League, winning the Young Player of the Month award back in March.

A stunning goal against rivals Plymouth Argyle endeared him to the Exeter faithful, while it is also reportedly attracted interest from further up the league structure.

Cherries chief Eddie Howe is understood to be weighing up a move to bring him across the South Coast, having previously yielded much success from working with players from lower divisions.

Championship outfits Derby County and Brentford are also believed to be interested in bringing the 9 goal forward in this summer.

The Rams could well join Bournemouth in the Premier League next season as they gear up to square off against Hull City in their playoff semi-final this weekend.
