The 2017/18 campaign saw Derby County finish sixth in the Sky Bet Championship under Gary Rowett, whilst their fierce rivals Nottingham Forest struggled in mid-table.

Ahead of the new season, however, things have changed, with Derby now under the management of Frank Lampard and looking to take a different direction in their quest to secure promotion.

Whilst Derby are embarking on a new chapter, Aitor Karanka is putting his plans in place at the City Ground, with the Spaniard’s squad shaping up nicely ahead of the new season.

Karanka has made some exciting additions, including 20-goal striker, Lewis Grabban.
