Matt Jarvis has delivered a message to Norwich City fans on social media, after it was confirmed that he will leave the club in the summer.

Norwich announced their retained list yesterday, confirming that Jarvis will not be offered a new contract at Carrow Road and will become a free agent in the summer.

The 33-year-old posted this photo on his personal

Jarvis scored two goals in 21 appearances for Norwich, after joining from West Ham for a reported fee £2.5million in January 2016, following a successful loan spell earlier in the campaign.

His time at Carrow Road was impacted by a series of knee and ankle problems and he made what turned out to be his final appearance for the club during a 3-0 defeat at Everton in May 2016.

He finally returned to action for the Norwich under-23 side in December last year, before being sent out on loan to Walsall in League One in January, where he made ten appearances in all competitions.

The Verdict:

It's a shame to see Jarvis leave Norwich, as he was never really given the chance to make a proper impact at Carrow Road due to a series of injury problems.

He obviously enjoyed his time at the club though, judging by his latest Instagram post and it will be interesting to see where the player goes from here.
