Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Dennis Adeniran has taken to his personal Instagram account to issue a message to supporters following his influential display in the Owls’ 2-0 win against Doncaster Rovers.
Adeniran was making his first league start for Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough and he wasted no time in making himself an instant hit with Owls supporters with an energetic display against Doncaster.
The midfielder had shown plenty of encouraging signs with his solid performances during Sheffield Wednesday’s League Cup tie with Huddersfield Town and their goalless draw at Charlton Athletic.
However, against Doncaster, the 22-year-old was able to take his game to a new level and show the major influence he could have when breaking forwards from the middle of the pitch.
The 22-year-old managed to score the crucial second goal for Sheffield Wednesday to clinch all three points against Doncaster when he followed in smartly after Rovers’ Pontus Dahlberg could only push Jaden Brown’s dangerous delivery out into the danger zone.
It was a performance that demonstrated that Adeniran can carry a vital extra potential goal threat for the Owls from midfield and alongside Barry Bannan and Lewis Wing, Moore’s side look to have a lot of quality in that area.
