The international break takes centre stage this week but coming up for Leeds United is a crunch clash with Millwall on March 30.

Leeds are licking their wounds over the international break following defeat to Sheffield United, whilst Millwall’s mood will not be any better after they crashed out of the FA Cup quarter-finals on penalties against Brighton.

That defeat for the Lions came despite them leading 2-0 heading into the closing stages of normal time. A dramatic collapse led to extra time, with Brighton then progressing through a penalty shootout.

Victory over Brighton would’ve led Millwall to Wembley for an FA Cup semi-final, but Neil Harris has claimed that the upcoming clash with Leeds at Elland Road is their biggest game of the season, with his side in a relegation scrap.

“The FA Cup’s been a great adventure. We’ve had some great days but we’ve got nine cup finals to go,” the Yorkshire Evening Post reported.

“We have to take those battling qualities, some of the quality we had with the ball and certainly the energy levels and defensive doggedness into those nine cup finals.

“The biggest game of the season by far, miles bigger than (Brighton), is Leeds away in two weeks’ time.”

Following that claim, Leeds’ fans have been quick to laugh off Harris’ claim, with many believing a trip to take on Marcelo Bielsa’s side is the biggest game for most in the Championship.
