It was the perfect Saturday afternoon for West Bromwich Albion against Rotherham United at the weekend, a win on the road, a clean sheet, and goals galore at Christmas time.

The Baggies were looking to go seven league games unbeaten after a magnificent run of form of late, and were full of confidence after an impressive 2-1 victory away at promotion rivals Sheffield United last weekend.

Darren Moore's men got off to the perfect start - the blew the Millers away with three goals in the first half - thanks to a brace from Dwight Gayle and a strike from Harvey Barnes.

Albion were rampant throughout, and their afternoon was complete when Gayle claimed the matchball with a 48-minute hattrick, securing a 4-0 victory and claiming an invaluable three points at the top end of the Championship table.
