‘Definitely’, ‘Yes, his confidence will be sky high’ – Should Rowett start this Derby player tomorrow v Leeds?

Derby County travel to Elland Road tomorrow night to face off against Thomas Christiansen’s Leeds United.

The Rams are enjoying a great run of form, and are unbeaten in their last six league games, winning their last three.

Sam Winnall notched the winner for Derby as they beat Norwich 2-1 on Saturday, with the loanee coming off the bench to score the key goal.

Does Winnall deserve to start tomorrow’s match with Leeds?

We take a look….

George Dagless

I really like Winnall and think that with the right support around him he is going to score plenty of goals. The Rams seem to just need a figurehead up top to really become a force and Winnall deserves the chance to be that.

The men from Pride Park are really starting to come up on the rails and are one of the sides to watch.

Chris Gallagher

Yes, his confidence will be sky high.

It’s tough for Gary Rowett given the options he has up front, but he has to use the strikers when they are confident.

Winnall has struggled since his move but Saturday will have been a major boost for him. Now it’s time to give him a run and show some faith in him.

Alfie Burns

I think he is deserving of a starting berth at Elland Road.

Winnall’s goal will have boosted his confidence, and his work rate away from home could be vital in helping Derby pick up a victory at Leeds on Tuesday.

Rowett must select an attacking line-up and look to hurt a vulnerable Leeds side. Winnall could be key to doing this.
