After another disappointing season in charge of Middlesbrough, Tony Pulis is set to leave the club upon the expiry of his contract at the Riverside Stadium.
The Teesside club missed out on a Championship play-off spot, despite sitting firmly inside the top six places for the majority of the campaign.
But after a run of six straight defeats ruined their promotion chances, reports from the Gazette claim that Pulis is set to leave when his 18-month contract with the club comes to an end.
This would mean that a new manager would take the reins at the Riverside, and plenty of Middlesbrough fans have had their say on who they want to replace Pulis.
One manager who recently lost his job is Chris Hughton, who was sacked by Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion after narrowly avoiding the drop to the second tier.
With two promotions from the Championship on his CV with both Newcastle and Brighton, he would definitely be a popular appointment, and here, we take a look at Boro fans’ reactions…

Thank god Pulis isn't staying. Chris Hughton would be a safe pair of hands, but not the appointment we need. If we truly want to change tack, a young foreign manager is needed. Michael Reizeger for me. #boro

why am i seeing people wanting hughton at #boro? his cautious style of play isn’t a million miles away from what we’ve been watching already. no thanks

Hughton seems to get treated really harshly at every club he’s at. Get him at the Boro under a chairman who generally gives his managers time. Boro got to pull out all the stops to get Hughton. #boro

Rumours about Chris Hughton going at Brighton, I'd definitely take him as the next #boro boss.
