Football League World's West Bromwich Albion fan pundit Sarah Rudge has pinpointed the next exciting talent she expects to emerge from the Baggies academy.

The opinion comes after the club moved a step-closer to replacing former Academy Chief Mark Harrison, with Coventry City's Richard Stevens set to move to the Hawthorns, according to the Express and Star, and it is a striker who has caught her eye the most.

"One of the players currently catching my eye is Jamie Soule," the regular punter told Football League World.

"He’s only 18-years-old but he has already scored four goals in four games in Premier League 2 and he definitely seems to be one for the future.

"Nick Clayton-Phillips is another player who is impressing and appears to be a good prospect. Our young goalkeeper Josh Griffiths who signed a new deal yesterday is certainly one to look out for, highlighted by the fact we were keen to tie him down to a long contract."

Harrison made the controversial switch from the Hawthorns to Villa Park earlier in the summer after a successful spell with the Baggies, but it has left them needing to find a replacement.

And Stevens comes with an impressive track record, having brought through the likes of Maddison and Wilson, two players who have gone on to become regulars in the national team set-up.

In more recent seasons the likes of Tom Bayliss, Jordan Shipley, Lee Burge and Jordan Willis have all gone on to play regularly for the Sky Blues' first-team having graduated through the academy, giving West Brom fans plenty to be excited about.
