Slaven Bilic has done a superb job since taking on the manager's role at West Bromwich Albion last summer, with the Croat having got his side playing some attractive football this term.

After making the move to the Hawthorns, Bilic almost immediately went about bringing in the sort of players that had the potential to lead his side's charge for Premier League promotion.

The likes of Matheus Pereira and Grady Diangana came in to bolster the former West Ham man's creative options, whilst the likes of Charlie Austin and Semi Ajayi were signed to make positive impacts at both ends of the field.

Given the success that they have had as a unit so far, it is perhaps unsurprising that some of their key players having been linked with departures from the Hawthorns in recent months.

Here, we take a look at TWO potential West Brom transfer scenarios we could see play out in the summer....

Nathan Ferguson to depart?

The Baggies full back was seemingly set to leave the Hawthorns back in January after a fee was agreed for his services with Crystal Palace, only for the move to collapse in the last knockings of the transfer window.

Ferguson's strong showings in defence for the Midlands based club had originally seen the player become something of a regular starter under Bilic prior to the injury that he is currently recovering from.

A strong passer and dribbler with the ball at his feet, Ferguson would be a great addition for many a club this summer, particularly as his current contract is said to expire at the end of the campaign.

It remains to be seen if Palace or indeed any other suitors will make a move for the 19-year-old who is seemingly heading for the exit door at the Hawthorns.

Pereira a wanted man

The talented Brazilian has been in great form for the Baggies this season since initially arriving on loan from Sporting Lisbon this summer and is seemingly set to make his move permanent in the coming months.

A versatile playmaker, the 23-year-old has already contributed to West Brom's attacking and creative outputs this term, with his exploits having not gone unnoticed from afar.

Manchester United are said to be big admirers of the diminutive attacker and have been strongly linked with potentially making a move for a player that they feel would fit into their philosophy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Given the fact that West Brom are said to be set to acquire the player for a paltry fee in the current market, they may well be open to making a big profit on the attacking midfielder in the summer if United put forward a substantial bid for his services.
