According to reports from the Telegraph, Watford and Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham on loan.

The Reds are expected to bring in another forward in the January transfer window, to provide competition for the likes of Lewis Grabban and Rafa Mir.

The likes of Daryl Murphy, Apostolos Vellios, Jason Cummings and Hillal Soudani all left the club in the summer, so a striker is bound to be on the Reds' transfer radar.

According to the Telegraph, Wickham is believed to be on Forest's radar, with Premier League side Watford also interested in signing the 26-year-old.

The striker has made just two Premier League appearances this season, both coming off the bench really late on, and he has scored a total of 10 goals in 45 games for the Eagles since arriving from Sunderland for £7m.

Can you score 15 out of 15 on this Forest quiz?

Having made just 16 appearances in three-and-a-half years due to injury, Wickham will be looking to get out of Selhurst Park in January to earn regular game-time.

Here, we take a look at Forest fans' reactions to this latest transfer speculation, on the Nottingham Forest News Facebook page...

Guy Cooper: Underwhelmed. Can do a lot better!

Gary Macken: I personally think that would be a very decent signing. Right age with a point to prove. Steady player.

John Haddow: Worth a Gamble good striker in this Division

Liam Hunt: Steady striker but need more of a central forward he tends to drift to the wings alot

Lee Tilston: To be fair he'd be a good point. I've always regarded him as a good all round player, he just doesn't get a huge amount of goals- albeit at Premier League.

Best comparison at this level is probably Steven Fletcher? He does a good job at Wednesday.Would give us a physical option up top too. Plus he'd be coming into a good side, only got to look at how SAmeobi has done for us this season, he didn't exactly get people excited when he was signed yet he's starting ahead of Carvalho and Adomah on merit at the moment.

Steve Parkes: Good God No, what a Donkey

Lee Watson: Decent signing if we were fighting relegation.
