Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of agreeing a £5 million deal for Fulham striker Moussa Dembele, according to Guardian journalist Ed Aarons.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have repeatedly been linked with the 19-year-old Frenchman, who has scored 11 goals in 29 appearances for The Cottagers so far this season.
It’s being reported that the Premier League side will pay an initial fee of £5m for Dembele, who joined Fulham from Paris Saint-Germain’s academy in 2012, before making his senior debut the following year.
Spurs, who currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, are keen to add another attacking player in this window to support Harry Kane, with West Brom’s Saido Berahino and Barcelona forward Sandro Ramirez also thought to be on the club’s wishlist.
Dembele’s Fulham strike partner Ross McCormack is also attracting interest from elsewhere, despite recently-appointed manager Slavisa Jokanovic insisted that the pair are not for sale.
