Sky Bet Championship club Fulham are set to be boosted by the news that forward Moussa Dembele is set to sign a new long-term deal at Craven Cottage, according to Eurosport.

The Frenchman has been the subject of Premier League interest for the past couple of months but is relishing a regular first-team role with the Cottagers.

The 19-year-old has netted three goals in eight games for the West London-based outfit this term and the club have been keen to tie the player down ahead of his best years.

Dembele was on the score sheet last night in a 1-1 draw against Leeds United but his opener was unable to hand his side a much needed win.

He began his career with French giants Paris Saint-Germain but left without making a first-team appearance, subsequently joining the Fulham youth ranks.

The pacey forward has represented France at every youth level from Under-16's through to Under-20's.

It remains to be seen just how much longer under pressure Fulham boss Kit Symons will remain in the hot-seat at Craven Cottage, but this news will no doubt come as a massive boost to the under fire manager.
