Swansea City defender Jazz Richards will have a medical at Fulham on Wednesday ahead of a permanent move to the Championship club, according to Sky Sports' Amy Lewis.

Richards is set to join Fulham

It has been rumoured for some time that the 24-year-old would be making the move to Craven Cottage, but talks between the two clubs appeared to have broken down on Tuesday and the deal looked to be in jeopardy.

However, it now seems as though the differences have been resolved and, barring any problems found during the medical examinations, the former Cardiff City trainee will join Kit Symons' side.

Right-back Richards joined the Swans in 2009 and has gone on to make over 50 appearances for the club, as well as having loan spells at Crystal Palace and Huddersfield Town.

He spent the second half of last season on loan a Fulham, playing 14 times as the Cottagers finished 17th in the Championship.
