Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond is set to move back to the Premier League with Stoke City following the Canaries’ relegation, reports the Mirror.
Redmond was one of a few bright sparks for Alex Neil’s side last season, and impressed enough to earn a place in Gareth Southgate’s England under-21 squad for the Toulon Tournament.
Following the conclusion of the tournament, and England’s resulting victory, the 22-year-old now looks set to finalise his future with a move to Mark Hughes’ side on the cards.
While the report does not state the exact fee that the Potters will shell out for the former Birmingham City winger, it does claim that the Norwich hierarchy rate Redmond at around £10m and will seek a fee somewhere around this.
Redmond was an important part of the Canaries’ team last season as he scored six goals and recorded another two assists in a goal-shy side.
The winger will be hoping to force himself into the England squad next season and in order to do that, he will need to be playing top flight so a move to Stoke makes sense for Birmingham-born star.
