Rotherham United will sign 22-year-old Walsall winger Anthony Forde, according to the Star.
Anthony Forde’s contract is set to expire on Friday and has been offered a new contract of two further years to stay at the Bescot Stadium.
However, new Rotherham United boss Alan Stubbs appears keen to capitalise on the young, tricky winger’s contract expiry.
Forde played 51 times for the Saddlers last season, scoring 5 times including a brace in a 5-0 away win against Port Vale. The 22-year-old provided two assists for his team-mates.
The Irishman has had spells with Scunthorpe United and Wolverhampton Wanderers during his career thus far and his next club appears to be Rotherham after a source close to the club confirmed a medical had been passed earlier today.
Forde can be known for his set-piece ability and occasionally scores goals.
