Burnley have won the race to sign highly-rated Tottenham midfielder Alex Pricthard on loan until the end of the season, according to Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old was a huge hit on loan last season with Brentford as he scored 12 goals in 45 league games as the Bees reached the play-offs in their first season back in the second tier.
It was reported over the weekend that Burnley, Middlesbrough and Brighton had agreed terms with Spurs over the former England under-21 international, but he appears to have chosen Turf Moor as his next destination.
Pritchard is now set to join Burnley on Monday and will hope to play an important part in the Clarets’ promotion push as they seek an immediate return to the top flight.
Sean Dyche’s men currently sit third in the Championship but find themselves four points behind second-placed Middlesbrough, who have a game in hand.
