Sky Bet League One outfit Bradford City are set to boost their injury crisis by bringing former winger Kyel Reid back to Valley Parade on loan, according to HITC Sport.
Winger and summer signing Paul Anderson suffered a broken leg last week and with Josh Morris also sidelined it leaves boss Phil Parkinson with a void to fill out wide.
Reid featured 14 times for Preston North End last season but has found his first-team opportunities restricted this season in the Championship.
Boss Simon Grayson signed Adam Reach on loan last weekend which further decreases Reid’s chances of regular football in the first-team.
It is thought that a number of League One clubs were keen to take the 27-year-old on loan but the lure of going back to a club where he experienced such a successful time, was too much of a pull for Reid.
The Bantams will be looking to kick start their season this Saturday when they travel to Rochdale. Despite early season backing from the bookmakers City are yet to kick on and are languishing near the bottom of the league.
Bradford fans… Would you welcome Reid back to the club? What will he offer that your other wingers don’t? Can he push you up the league table? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
