Bradford City could be about to secure their second summer signing by completing a deal for ex-Blackburn Rovers winger Josh Morris, according to HITC Sport.
Morris is available on a free transfer having been released from Rovers yesterday, with boss Gary Bowyer looking to free up space in his squad.
The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Ewood Park and made 20 appearances for the first-team with his last coming in November 2013.
The pint-sized winger has spent the majority of the last 18 months on loan with Fleetwood Town, after two different spells with the Cod Army.
During his time with Graham Alexander’s men the ex-England Under-20 international scored eight goals in 45 games to catch the eye of many potential suitors.
One of those is Phil Parkinson the Bradford manager and he now looks like being in pole position to steal a march on his rivals.
Preliminary talks have taken place and once the move goes through he will become the club’s second signing following the arrival of Steven Davies who put pen-to-paper earlier today.
