AFC Bournemouth are set to sign Fulham’s highly rated out of contract starlet, Emerson Hyndman, according to an exclusive report by The Sun.
As Emerson Hyndman’s contract comes to an end, it appears that the 20-year-old midfielder will turn down Fulham’s contract extension and instead leave Fulham after five years at the club.
The United States international has been attracting attention from across Europe and reports earlier in the season linked him with a move to the likes of Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Celtic.
However, the report suggests that Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth has beaten the other household European names to the 20 year old’s signature.
The promise of first team football and how Eddie Howe has outlined precisely where Hyndman will fit into Bournemouth’s first team plans, appears to have been enough to persuade Hyndman to turn down the larger European clubs.
A move for Hyndman within England would be ideal for Fulham from a financial perspective as they would still be eligible to receive a development compensation fee, which wouldn’t be the case if Hyndman moved abroad.
