Leeds United, Newcastle United and Celtic have until this Saturday to try and sign Sebastian Andersson from Union Berlin for £4m, before his release fee clause expires - as per Kicker in Germany.

The same outlet reported earlier this summer that the trio of clubs as well as the likes of Lille in France were interested in the Union Berlin forward.

A 29-year-old striker that stands comfortably over 6 foot, he's what you'd call a bit of a target man and it has seemed as though quite a few clubs have been impressed with what he could potentially bring them.

However, the chance to get him on a pretty cheap deal is not going to stay around forever, and it sounds as though interested parties have until the weekend to pay the £4m, or risk seeing his asking price go up.

The Verdict

Leeds are looking for competition for Patrick Bamford, Newcastle are looking for the same for Joelinton and Celtic could well be needing attackers before the window shuts if Odsonne Edouard ends up leaving.

Andersson is just one player they've all been linked with, then, and they now have a bit of a timeline available to them if they want the Swede on the cheap - let's see if any of them go for it.
