Slaven Bilic made a successful start to his reign as West Bromwich Albion boss at the City Ground last weekend, as his side turned around a one-goal deficit to beat Nottingham Forest 2-1.

It was a good performance but there was an element of luck in the Baggies victory.

On-loan Forest goalkeeper Aro Muric should certainly have kept out Kyle Edwards' equaliser and was then made to a look a fool as Matty Phillips' looping cross-come-shot sailed over his head into the back of the net.

Bilic added firepower to his squad on transfer deadline day, with Charlie Austin, Matheus Pereira, Chris Willock, and Grady Diangana all joining the club.

The Baggies welcome Millwall on Saturday as they look to make it six points out of six in the Championship this season.

Neil Harris’ side will be arriving at the Hawthorns with confidence after they beat Preston North End 1-0 in their season opener.

But how will Bilic set-up his side against the Lions on Saturday?

On the back of an opening weekend victory, I can’t see Bilic making many changes and expect him to stick to 4-2-3-1. The Croatian coach emphasised to Birmingham Live that the signings had been brought in for the whole season, not one game, and is having his first look at the new arrivals today.

It never looks good when a goalkeeper is beaten at their near post but it is hard to fault Sam Johnstone for Matty Cash’s goal on Saturday and he is set to remain the Baggies number one.

Summer signing Semi Ajayi looked assured at centre-back against Forest and I expect him to reprise his role alongside Kyle Bartley.

After a sensational debut, Nathan Ferguson looks certain to start again at right-back with Keiran Gibbs on the left.

Jake Livermore and Romaine Sawyer worked well together in holding midfield against the Reds and the duo should start together again against the Lions.

Edwards is another West Brom youngster who put in a brilliant performance against Forest and, despite the arrival of three new wingers on deadline day, it appears likely that both him and Phillips will start on the wings against Millwall, with Filip Krovinovic in the number 10 role again.

Zohore was a presence against the Reds but didn’t light the world on fire in his Baggies debut, however, this game looks to have come a few days too soon for Austin to displace him, so I expect the Danish forward to once again start at striker.
