Ben Davies is relishing a reunion with Nigel Clough as he made his permanent signing to Sheffield United.
The 33 year old midfielder will be reunited with Clough for the second time in his career as he moves from Derby County on a free transfer after his contract at the iPro expired.
Davies, who signed a three-year deal at Bramall Lane after a successful loan spell and believes knowing the manager and the staff already, will make him fit straight in.
‘It’s nice to get it sorted. Once we’d got the play-offs out of the way with Derby, it was just a case of agreeing everything. It was always the intention to come back here. Having been at the club for three months of the season, I got to see what it was all about and I’ve loved every minute of it.” said Davies.
”It always helps to have some experience in the squad, so it’s good to have a nice blend.’ said the former Notts County man.
Ben Davies signed for Nigel Clough at Derby in 2011 from Notts County. He made 82 appearances for the Rams.
