Speaking to Huddersfield Town’s official media, David Wagner has provided an injury update on Kasey Palmer and Izzy Brown, confirming the on-loan Chelsea duo will return in the coming weeks.

The pair are both struggling with injury but look set to return over Easter, when Wagner’s side face vital clashes against Preston North End and Derby County.

Following the Easter period, Town will still have four fixtures of the Sky Bet Championship regular season remaining, and Palmer and Brown’s availability will be a huge boost for Wagner, as he looks to guide the club to promotion.

Palmer was brought to the John Smith’s Stadium last summer and has played a major part in Town’s promotion push this season, scoring five goals in 26 appearances across all competitions.

Brown did not arrive in Huddersfield until January, with Wagner brining the midfielder to the club to add depth to the current squad.

The 20-year old has shone during his brief spell with Town, scoring four goals in just 15 appearances since the turn of the year.

Wagner will be hopeful the returning duo can help Huddersfield add to the pressure on the Championship’s top-two, with Wagner’s side currently third and nine-points behind the automatic promotion places.
