Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has shared a short clip mocking midfielder Dru Yearwood for his questionable choice of breakfast on Monday morning.

The duo were at the Bees' training ground nice and early following their 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday but Raya's eye was clearly caught by the summer signing's meal.

Posting on his Instagram story, the Spaniard showed Yearwood appearing to eat a breakfast comprised of only bread and butter, writing alongside it simply: "DRY".

It has been a bit of a slow start to life in West London for Yearwood after making the move from Southend United back in the summer, making just two Championship appearances so far.

Raya, on the other hand, has become an integral part of Thomas Frank's set up, playing in every single second-tier match so far as the Bees push for promotion.

He had a mixed day of it on Saturday, however, as he was lobbed by Adam Armstrong for Blackburn's opener before conceding the penalty for their second as well.

Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma dragged them level in the second half and Raya will be confident of bouncing back from that display as quickly as possible.

The verdict

It is good to see that the Brentford players are not feeling the pressures of a promotion chase too much as of yet, clearly still comfortable to joke with eachother during training.

Alleviating as much of pressure could prove crucial in Brentford winning a place in the Premier League or not, as well.

We have seen teams crumbe when expectations become so great and it will no doubt help the Bees if they are under a little pressure as possible.
