David Prutton is predicting Fulham to get their fourth win of the season when they take on Neil Warnock's Cardiff City on Friday night.

The Cottagers come into the game on the back of two home defeats, firstly against Nottingham Forest before a Carabao Cup second round loss to Premier League side Southampton.

Cardiff haven't found life easy since their relegation last season, with a 3-0 loss at Reading a couple of weeks ago arguably one of their lowest points so far.

The Bluebirds also tasted defeat in the Carabao Cup this week as they were beaten 3-0 once more, this time at home to Luton.

With Fulham having won three of their first five fixtures, there's an opportunity to climb up to third on Friday night - Cardiff would rise into the play-offs with victory.

Ex-Sheffield Wednesday midfielder David Prutton has predicted the away side to come away with a 2-1 victory on Friday night.

He thinks that Fulham will just about have too much in their attacking armoury for Warnock's side.

Speaking in his Sky Sports column, Prutton said: "Cardiff haven't found their return to the Championship quite as easy as they may have thought, although Neil Warnock is more experienced at this level than anyone and knows how tough it can be.

"Fulham were shown by Nottingham Forest at the weekend that, even with their attacking talent, they won't just be able to blow everyone away. That being said, I fancy them to nick this one."
The Verdict
It's going to be an interesting game on Friday night, as two sides meet who have very different styles of play. Warnock's team doesn't have a lot of the ball but are very effective when they do have it, especially in creating chances.
Fulham, on the other hand, enjoy possession of the football and with players like Tom Cairney in their midfield they like to control and dictate games.
Scott Parker has a number of big names in his attacking ranks and I think that'll just about see them through tonight. It's going to be a tight game, but I fancy Fulham to nick it by the odd goal.
