West Bromwich Albion will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Championship tomorrow when they host Huddersfield Town at the Hawthorns.

The Baggies have experienced a promising start to the 2019/20 campaign under the guidance of Slaven Bilic and will be looking to push on over the coming months.

Since beating Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the season, West Brom have picked up 10 points from their last six games in the second-tier.

With promotion on the agenda this year, the Baggies will be wary that they will have to improve their defensive record if they are to have a chance of achieving this goal.

Whilst West Brom have yet to lose in the Championship, they have also failed to keep a clean sheet and thus Bilic will be hoping his side can find a solution to this issue against Huddersfield.

Currently 23rd in the league standings, the Terriers will be looking to kick-start their campaign with a positive result on Saturday.

Speaking to Sky Sports, pundit David Prutton has predicted that the Baggies will secure a 2-1 victory over Danny Cowley's side.

The 38-year-old said: "West Brom are the last remaining unbeaten side in the Championship!

"Mainly thanks to Marcus Bettinelli's helping hand last weekend as they nicked a late draw at Fulham.

"If Danny Cowley wasn't already aware of the size of his task at Huddersfield before, then he will be now after their defeat against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday.

"They look a team bereft of confidence.

"Home win for me."

The Verdict

Although it is fair to say that West Brom have yet to reach top-form in the Championship this season, they will be extremely confident of securing victory over a Huddersfield side who have been woeful in recent weeks.

With the likes of Grady Diangana, Charlie Austin and Matt Phillips at their disposal, the Baggies should have more than enough quality to overcome the Terriers.

By sealing all three points at the Hawthorns, Bilic's side could move up to third in the Championship standings depending on results elsewhere.
