Stoke City will be looking to bounce back from their first Championship defeat in six matches when they take on Rotherham United at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.

Michael O'Neill's men were beaten at Swansea City on Tuesday - a result which not only ended their five-game unbeaten run, but saw the Potters miss the chance to climb into the top-six for the first time this season.

But Stoke were in impressive form prior to their South Wales setback and will be targeting another three points here and a second home league success on the bounce.

As for Rotherham, they've been performing far better in recent weeks, although they didn't have the results to show for it until they thrashed South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday in midweek to move four points clear of danger.

But what does Sky Sports pundit David Prutton think? He has predicted a narrow 2-1 victory for Stoke.

He told Sky Sports: "I think I've undersold Stoke a little this season! Despite a disappointing defeat in midweek they have been ticking along nicely under Michael O'Neill. They have a squad to be aiming for the top six.

Rotherham got a great win in midweek against Sheffield Wednesday. They will always put up a fight, but I think Stoke should have too much."

The Verdict Despite Rotherham's midweek performance, this result has home win written all over it for me, and a comfortable one, too. Rotherham have won just two of their previous 50 Championship away matches, and I think their miserable record on the road will continue in the Potteries with a 2-0 defeat.
