Barnsley face a tricky test as they welcome Sheffield Wednesday to Oakwell this weekend.

Gerhard Struber's side are struggling at the moment having lost their last four fixtures in the Championship.

The last result was a 2-1 away defeat to Charlton Athletic - a result which has left them second bottom of the league and a worrying seven points from safety.

As for Sheffield Wednesday there's still outside hopes of making the top six.

The Owls are sitting in 11th place at the moment but a run of just one win in their last five has left them seven points outside of the play-off positions meaning that it's all to play for for Garry Monk's side.

Saturday's clash could go either way, but according to Sky Sports' presenter David Prutton, he's expecting Sheffield Wednesday to get themselves back on track with a 2-0 victory at Oakwell.

The verdict

It's certainly going to be a tough afternoon for Barnsley.

The Yorkshire side have struggled so far this season and it seems that they'll need a huge turnaround in form if they're to escape relegation.

For Sheffield Wednesday it's all about consistency.

The Owls have showed what they can do but they need to start doing it week in, week out if they're to push for the play-offs.
