David Prutton has predicted an entertaining draw when Oxford United host Doncaster Rovers at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.

Oxford are in fine form in recent weeks and have been surging up the league table as well as advancing in the Carabao Cup.

The U's have seen themselves move up the table and now sit in ninth place in League One following their good form. The 4-0 victory over West Ham in the cup has been the highlight.

Doncaster have had a fairly content start to life in League One, and find themselves near Oxford in the league, sitting in 10th.

After last season's play-off heartbreak, they'll be hoping to improve and find the key to promotion under Darren Moore.

Prutton has predicted a 2-2 draw at the Kassam, with Oxford keeping their impressive goal tally flowing.

Speaking in his Sky Sports column, Prutton said: "Oxford are on a decent run of form at the minute. They have recovered from a really poor start to the season and are unbeaten in their last five games, scoring 14 goals in that time as well.

"Darren Moore has had a solid start to life at Doncaster. They may be lacking a few goals up front this season but they are 10th in the table and have played fewer games than all the sides above them. I fancy an entertaining draw here."

The Verdict

It's set to be a good game on Saturday, especially with the goalscoring form that Karl Robinson's side find themselves in.

They go into the game, probably thinking that they can net a few past any side in the division with current confidence, but it will be a tougher game than normal against a strong and well setup Doncaster outfit.

I can see a draw as well, but I think Doncaster might frustrate the U's. I'll go for a 1-1.
