Sky Sports EFL pundit David Prutton has issued his prediction on Sheffield Wednesday's trip to Carrow Road to face Norwich City on Saturday, forecasting the Owls' three-game unbeaten run will end in a 2-0 defeat.

The Owls are yet to win under Tony Pulis but have become much harder to beat since the Welshman's arrival in November – drawing four of their five games in that period.

They now travel to Norfolk to take on a Norwich side that may be top of the Championship but were comprehensively beaten by Luton Town in midweek.

In his predictions for Sky Sports, Prutton has suggested that Daniel Farke's men will get back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory against Wednesday.

That result would keep Norwich top of the table and could see them extend their lead beyond a point should the sides below them falter.

For the Owls, it may mean they drop back to the bottom of the Championship and could see them slip seven points adrift of safety.

Teemu Pukki could return for the Canaries on Saturday but they still look set to be without a host of first-team players, including Kenny McLean, Todd Cantwell, and Lukas Rupp.

Josh Windass is back for Wednesday, who welcomed the return of Dominic Iorfa in midweek, but Pulis has revealed it will be touch and go for midfielder Barry Bannan.

Both Massimo Luongo and Liam Shaw are suspended.

Which club did Sheffield Wednesday sign each of these 25 players from?

The Verdict

Things look likely to go one of two ways for Wednesday as they face a Norwich side looking to bounce back from midweek disappointment.

Either Farke's men are going to come out flying and punish the Owls for their own mistakes against Luton or the Canaries could struggle as they did at Kenilworth Road again.

Wednesday are likely going to be the solid and structured side we've seen under Pulis so far but you'd question whether they have the quality to get a result against the league leaders.
