West Bromwich Albion host Bristol City tonight when the two square off at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies drew one-all last time out against local rivals Birmingham City and currently sit eighth in the division on 11 points with three wins, and two draws registered so far.

Bristol City, meanwhile, are coming off the back of an impressive home win over Sheffield United at Ashton Gate, being the Blades 1-0.

The Robins are third in the division, one point off the top spot at this early stage having amassed 14 points, winning four and drawing two of their first seven fixtures.

Both sides will be looking for the three points for different reasons tomorrow evening, in a round of games that could see Lee Johnson’s side climb to the summit of the Championship.

West Brom, however, will be hoping win takes them into the top six at this early stage of the campaign.

With that said, here are Sky Sports’ David Prutton’s thoughts on tomorrow evening's clash.

The EFL presenter said: "West Brom still seem like less than the sum of their parts. With the options they have at their disposal they should really be blowing teams away.

"Bristol City are going very well this season and do not seem to be missing Aden Flint or Bobby Reid at all.

"Lee Johnson is doing a great job there and I think they could cause a bit of a stir at The Hawthorns, 0-2.”

The Verdict

West Brom’s home form isn’t the best and Bristol City are riding the crest of a wave with their superb form right now.

I can see why David Prutton has gone for an away win, and the evidence to back that up is clear.

It will click sooner or later for the home side but they will be too focused on stopping the mercurial attack of Bristol City tomorrow evening.

I am sitting on the fence, here, and predicting this one will end all square in a score draw. 1-1.
