Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United will be looking to continue their impressive run of form when they take on relegation threatened Bolton Wanderers at the weekend.

The Whites could return to the top of the table with a win, although they will be relying on other results if they are to return to the summit heading towards Christmas.

David Prutton is expecting Leeds to have no problem in sweeping Bolton aside and adding to their relegation fears at the weekend. In his Sky Sports column, he said:

"It really doesn't bode well for Bolton that they scored two goals in a game for the first time since September 1 against Norwich, but they still came away without a point."

Prutton also praised Bielsa for getting the best out of his players, despite the growing injury list at Elland Road this season, with a number of key players currently out of action:

"Leeds have a massive injury list but it hasn't caught up with them yet and Marcelo Bielsa has done a terrific job of managing their squad. Even with all the absentees I can't see this being anything but a comfortable away win."

It's sure to be a tough ask for Phil Parkinson's side to get anything from this game, as Bielsa will have his players well drilled and will not be underestimating the threat that Bolton will pose to his side on Saturday.

The Verdict

Leeds have to be winning this game.

It's the sort of game where they have struggled in previously, but under Bielsa this season, I can't see them having any similar issues here.

They have not been playing at their best but they keep grinding out wins, which is certainly a promising sign.

If they can play to their best against Bolton then we could be looking at Leeds' biggest win of the season so far.
