Sky Sports man David Prutton is predicting Cardiff City and Luton Town to play out a 1-1 draw this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship.

The second tier action begins this evening as Brentford host Queens Park Rangers but for Neil Harris and Nathan Jones all focus will be on the game at the Cardiff City stadium this weekend.

Last time out in the league, earlier this week, Cardiff lost away from home at Coventry City whilst Luton drew 1-1 with Birmingham City at Kenilworth Road, so both will be looking for three points this time around.

It's the Hatters who have had the better season so far, too, with them five points clear of the Bluebirds in the table as things stand.

However, Prutton is predicting a 1-1 draw between the pair and the spoils to be shared in his Sky Sports predictions column.

The Verdict

This is likely to be a tight game between two sides who are both on a run of three league games without a win at the moment.

Cardiff have lost two of those matches, whilst Luton have drawn all three and so the hope for both managers will be to snap out of the winless run and get a good three points on the board this weekend.
