David Prutton issues score prediction as Blackpool host Blackburn Rovers



Blackpool have picked up seven points from their last three Championship games, steering them away from the relegation places. 

The Seasiders, who picked up a mere two points from their opening two games, have turned somewhat of a corner with their recent form, although, they were disappointed not to come away with all three points against Hull City during the week.

Travelling to Bloomfield Road are Blackburn Rovers, and whilst they suffered a 3-2 defeat away to Huddersfield Town on Tuesday evening, Tony Mowbray’s side currently occupy the final play-off spot.

Winning four, drawing four, and losing two, it has been a relatively positive start by Rovers, however, they have won just a single game on their travels this year.

Believing that the visitors will secure a victory in their short trip to the coast via his Sky Sports column, David Prutton has predicted that Rovers will win 2-1.

It will be very interesting to see how this one plays out, as Blackpool are starting to trouble the division, with Neil Critchley seeing some success.

But, Mowbray has made Blackburn hard to beat thus far, with their only two losses coming in the form of narrow defeats against Huddersfield and West Brom.

Shayne Lavery is scoring goals, with his energy levels, pace, and intelligence causing all sorts of problems in England’s second tier, whilst Ben Brereton Diaz is proving to be at the top of his game.

It is a game where lots of goals could be scored, with both sides possessing real attacking threat at present.
