It's a must-win game for Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay on Tuesday night, as the Owls prepare to host one of the division's strugglers in Bolton Wanderers at Hillsborough.

Wednesday have lost five of their last six league outings, and have slumped to 18th in the Championship table, and they find themselves just three points off the relegation zone.

Tuesday night presents the perfect opportunity for the Owls to grab a win - Phil Parkinson's men have won just one of their previous fourteen league games and occupy the final place in the drop-zone, so a victory for the Trotters could drag Wednesday right into it.

Three points is a must for Luhukay - so what does former Sheffield Wednesday man David Prutton predict? The Sky Sports expert has predicted a 1-0 home win for the Owls.

"It's starting to look a little bit desperate for Sheffield Wednesday as they continue their slump down the league - they even took the lead against Derby at the weekend but fell apart fairly quickly," Prutton said.

"Bolton arrested their own run of defeats and even finally managed to get on the scoresheet at Millwall - it is nine games without a win now, though. It's tough to call, but I'll back a narrow home win."

Wednesday sit 17th position in the Championship standings, just three points above Bolton who sit in 22nd position.

The Verdict

It's probably the biggest game for Luhukay since becoming Sheffield Wednesday, manager - but I think the Owls have enough quality to win this.

Bolton have been on a dismal run of form of late, and Parkinson is a man living on the edge.

I can see the Owls nicking this one on tonight.
