David Prutton has predicted Luton to come out on top when they host Millwall on Wednesday night.

The Hatters come into the game having just beaten Blackburn at Ewood Park, in an impressive victory.

Graeme Jones' side are starting to pick up some good results in the division after a slow start to the season.

Millwall, on the other hand, are in a bit of trouble. They have now gone six fixtures without a victory and there's a real sense of pressure under boss Neil Harris with some of his comments post-match.

It's sure to be a fiercely contested tie, and Prutton has predicted that the home side will prevail in midweek by a one goal margin, 2-1.

Speaking in his Sky Sports column, Prutton said: "Luton are slowly adapting to life back in the Championship and under a new boss in Graeme Jones, and they got a big win at Blackburn on Saturday.

"Millwall are drifting a little. It is six without a win now for them and they needed a goalkeeping howler to nick a point at Huddersfield at the weekend. I think this is Luton's to win."

The Verdict

This should be a really good game of football at Kenilworth Road, both sides don't mind using a physical side to their game and there should be a few crunching challenges throughout the ninety minutes.

Luton are really starting to adjust to life in the division, and some good results are starting to back up their good performances.

This will be a different test in Millwall who are a physical side, but they have the ability to use their game management to good effect, and I can't see Harris struggling for too much longer.

I think it'll be a 1-1 draw, with both sides pushing for a winner late on.
