Swansea City have enjoyed a solid if not spectacular season under Graham Potter with the Swans finishing the season in 10th spot, nine points outside the play-off places.

Potter's managerial prowess has drawn admiring glances, with Celtic linked with the 43-year-old back in April and more recently Brighton have installed the former Östersund boss as their number one target, according to The Sun, following the sacking of Chris Hughton.

So who should Swansea look to appoint if Potter does leave?

We discuss........

Gary Hutchinson

“Hughton, or if they could tempt Daniel Stendel he’s another who’d be worth a look.

“They were forward thinking with Potter and they may have eyes on another coach in Sweden or Denmark.

“I don’t think he’ll go though, unless the ownership issue is getting too much.”

Ben Lang

“I don’t think Swansea should appoint a Championship journeyman in this instance.

“They need another relatively young manager who is hungry to succeed at this level and comes with fresh ideas.

“I’d like to see them appoint Michael Flynn after his success at Newport this season.”

Toby Wilding

"Darren Moore's worth a look.

"It will be difficult for Swansea to pick themselves up from what has been a disappointing start to the summer with the likely departures of Potter and Dan James, and that is something Moore did with West Brom both before and after relegation, putting them in contention for an immediate Premier League return.

"With Moore out of work, that would skip one part of the negotiation phase, something Swansea may want to waste time on as they look to prepare for next season."

Louie Chandler

"It doesn't bare thinking about.

"If Swansea lose Potter it sets them back massively in terms of any plans they have for the next few years.

"Only appointing somebody with a similar style would suffice and perhaps a gamble on Ryan Lowe could be in order."
