West Brom boss Darren Moore is hoping for a busy end to the loan window for Albion, revealing that he wants up to three new signings.
As expected, it was a busy window for the Baggies following relegation, with key players such as Ben Foster and Jonny Evans leaving, whilst several other big earners departed.
New players have arrived too, with Moore bringing in a lot of proven Championship quality.
Meanwhile, they managed to hang on to Jake Livermore, Jay Rodriguez and Craig Dawson, who now look set to stay with the window for Premier League clubs shut, although Nacer Chadli may move abroad.
Despite that though, Moore still wants more and he told the Express & Star that he will be looking to the loan market, which is open until August 31st, to add to his squad:
“I’m really pleased with who we’ve brought into the building, but I’m still looking to strengthen through this loan window.”
He then was more specific when asked about how many players he wants, Moore replied: “Two or three if it’s possible.”
It’s been a pretty good window for West Brom as they kept hold of more players than people may have thought possible.
However, you only have to look at their opening two performances against Bolton and Nottingham Forest to see that work needs doing.
Therefore, fans will be delighted to see that Moore still wants new arrivals and now it’s about identifying the right players to really add a lot to the team.
