Sheffield Wednesday manager Darren Moore has revealed he is considering offering a new contract to defender Ciaran Brennan.
Having come through the Owls academy, Brennan was sent out on loan to National League side Notts County earlier back in September.
Brennan went on to make five appearances for the Magpies, before being recalled to Hillsborough earlier this month.
Since then, the 21-year-old has started the Owls' last two league games, helping to provide some useful cover in the wake of a central defensive injury crisis at Hillsborough, in wins over Accrington Stanley and MK Dons.
Now, with his contract at Wednesday set to expire at the end of this season, it seems Brennan's recent form have left Moore considering the prospect of an extended deal with the club for the defender.
Speaking about Brennan recent form, the Owls boss was quoted by The Sheffield Star as saying: "Ciaran’s done really well coming in. He’s got a wonderful appetite for the game.
"For a young player, every time he’s trained with us he’s always had a wonderful belief about himself.
