West Brom were made to work hard to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, as they ran out 4-2 winners over Huddersfield Town on Sunday.

Danny Cowley's side led heading into the break through Lewis O'Brien and Karlan Grant, who scored either side of a Matt Phillips goal.

But the Baggies responded in clinical fashion as Darnell Furlong equalised, before Phillips grabbed his second of the game, whilst Semi Ajayi netted his second goal for the club late on to secure the three points.

Furlong has been impressive for West Brom so far this season, and will be hoping to feature on a more regular basis as the season progresses.

The full-back has made five league appearances under Bilic's management, but this strong performance will certainly have caught the eye of the Baggies boss.

Furlong will be hoping that he can be involved for when West Brom are next in action against QPR on Saturday, in what could potentially be a tricky test for the unbeaten Baggies.

It will also see Furlong come up against his former club, who he'll be keen to put in a good performance against in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

The Verdict:

He'll be a key player for West Brom this season.

I was really impressed with what I saw from Furlong last season with QPR, and he's picked up where he left off it seems with the Baggies.

If he can continue to build on these strong performances, then he's likely to be one of the first names in the starting XI under Slaven Bilic this term.
